Welcome to The Jungle Sensory’s Baby Sensory Room. To ensure a safe, enjoyable, and beneficial experience for all, please carefully read and adhere to the following Terms and Conditions.

By booking and using the baby sensory room, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. General Use

• The Jungle Sensory Room is designed for children aged 0–3 years and their accompanying adult(s).

• All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18+) at all times. Adults are fully responsible for the safety, supervision, and conduct of the children in their care.

• Only one adult per two children is permitted in the sensory room unless otherwise arranged in advance.

2. Booking and Cancellations

• All sessions must be pre-booked online or via phone. Walk-ins are subject to availability.

• Cancellations are non-refundable.  

• Private hire: Any cancellations are eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the booking are non-refundable.

• Late arrivals may result in reduced session time or forfeiture of the session.

• The operators reserve the right to cancel bookings due to unforeseen circumstances, in which case a full refund or alternative date will be offered.

3. Health and Safety

• Please do not attend the session if you or your child is unwell (including symptoms such as fever, vomiting, rash, or contagious illness).

• Shoes must be removed before entering the sensory room. Socks must be worn at all times by adults and children over 1 year.

• Food and drinks (including hot beverages) are not allowed in the sensory room to maintain cleanliness and safety.

• In the event of an emergency, please follow staff instructions and evacuate calmly if required.

• No chewing gum is allowed.

4. Hygiene and Cleanliness

• We take hygiene seriously. The room and all sensory equipment are cleaned regularly.

• Please report any spills, accidents, or damage to staff immediately.

• Nappy changing must be done in designated changing areas. Used nappies must be disposed of in the appropriate bins.

5. Behaviour and Conduct

• Rough play, aggressive behaviour, or inappropriate language will not be tolerated. Staff reserve the right to ask any individual to leave if conduct is deemed unsafe or disruptive.

• Please respect the space, staff, and others using the space and ensure shared equipment is used fairly.

• Any abusive, inappropriate, or unsafe behaviour may result in immediate termination of your session without refund.

6. Photography and Social Media

• Photography is allowed only of your own child. Please be respectful of others’ privacy.

• By attending, you agree that we may take photos during sessions for promotional use, unless you opt out by informing us in writing or at the time of your visit in writing.

7. Liability

• While every effort is made to ensure a safe environment, The Jungle Sensory accepts no liability for injuries or accidents that occur due to misuse of equipment or lack of supervision.

• Personal belongings are the responsibility of their owners. We do not accept liability for lost or damaged items.

8. Private Hire

·       Booking & Payment:

-            The hire fee is £60 per hour on weekdays and £75 per hour on weekends and bank holidays, payable at the time of booking.

-            A £20 cleaning fee applies if you choose to bring your own food.

-            Bookings are non-refundable but may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice, subject to availability.

·       Food & Drink

-            You may bring your own food and drinks into the lounge area, subject to the £20 cleaning fee. No food or drink is allowed in the sensory rooms.

-            All food and drink must be consumed responsibly and any waste disposed of in the bins provided.

-            Please avoid bringing food items that pose choking hazards or contain common allergens (e.g. nuts) where possible, in consideration of others who may use the space.

•   Your session time includes both set-up and pack-down. Please ensure you arrive and leave within your booked time slot.

8. Changes to Terms

• We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted in the venue and on our website.
