Frequently Asked Questions

What is a baby sensory room?

A baby sensory room is a specially designed environment that stimulates your baby’s senses sight, sound, touch, smell, and movement. It includes lights, textures, music, and soft play areas to encourage exploration and support your baby’s development.

What age group is the sensory room suitable for?

Our sensory room is best suited for babies from birth up to 3 years. Some sessions may be tailored specifically for pre-walking (0–12 months) or open sessions too for up to 3 years.

What are the benefits of sensory play for babies?

Sensory play helps with:

  • Cognitive growth and early learning

  • Motor skill development

  • Language and social interaction

  • Calming and self-regulation

Is the room safe for babies?

Yes! Safety is our top priority. The sensory room is fully padded, with age-appropriate equipment and regular safety checks. All materials are baby-safe and non-toxic.

Do I need to supervise my baby?

Yes, a parent or caregiver must remain with their baby at all times during the session to ensure safety and help guide their exploration.

How long is each session?

Each sensory session lasts for 1 hour. You can use the sensory rooms as often as you require during that time or sit and help yourself to a coffee and chat to a friend in the comfy living room inspired area.

Can I bring siblings or other children?

To maintain a calm and age-appropriate environment, siblings under the age of 3 are welcome to attend with an accompanying adult. Each adult may bring up to two children, but please note that a separate child ticket is required for each child.

Unfortunately, siblings over the age of 3 are not permitted to attend.
If you have special circumstances, please contact us in advance, we’re happy to help where we can.

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes, our spaces are limited to keep the experience peaceful and enjoyable. To help us prepare for your visit, we kindly ask that all bookings be made in advance through our website. We’re not able to accommodate walk-ins, but online booking is quick and easy through our website.

What should I bring?

We recommend bringing:

  • A clean blanket or mat for your baby to lie on

  • A change of clothes and diapers

  • Any comfort items your baby may need

  • Socks for adults and children

Is the room accessible for prams and wheelchairs?

Absolutely. Our sensory room and facilities are fully accessible. There is also designated pram parking available just outside the room in the reception area.

Can I take photos during the session?

To respect the privacy of all families, we ask that you only take photos of your own child and avoid capturing others unless you have their permission.

What is your cancellation policy?
